José Manuel Nunes Liberato—Chair of the CPES General Assembly and President of the Portuguese Centre of Foundations—was appointed Chancellor of the Ancient Military Orders, the National Orders, and the Orders of Civil Merit by the President of the Republic and Grand Master of the Portuguese Honorary Orders; he assumed office on July 20.
