The Convention’s closing session was led by José Manuel Nunes Liberato, Chair of the CPES General Assembly and President of the Portuguese Foundation Centre.
He highlighted the important role played by foundations—which, like other social economy organizations, actively contribute to a more just society through direct action in various fields, particularly the social sector—and noted their recognized value and impact on civil society.
